Area 51, run by an all-volunteer staff, builds, maintains and repairs all donated golf clubs. We have recycled over 1,056 clubs this year and have built up 132 sets of clubs for distribution to our wounded soldiers, sailors, airmen, Marines, coast guardsmen, VA in patients, the Old Soldier’s Home in Orting and our Blind Rehab Program. We provided 179 sets of clubs to our programs in 2012. May we never forget our veterans, past or present.
Golf legend Jack Nicklaus and his design team have donated their resources to design the new nine holes for American Lake Veterans Golf Course, a place of healing and comradery for our veterans, who have given their all in the service of our country. We encourage you to make a tax deductable donation to www.veterangolf.org.
